Koo-Koo Productions was founded in 2005 by Koorosh Farchadi, then a George Mason University student, as an outlet for his shorts and creative projects.

Koorosh started in video production at the age of thirteen by taking classes at Fairfax Public Access, where he later worked.  At George Mason he played an integral role at Mason Cable Network (Mason’s student run station) as Executive Producer by boosting original programming 400% and laying key foundations for future success.  Upon graduating Koorosh did freelance and worked with several news gathering agencies in Washington.  His professional contacts there serve as the freelance crew for Koo-Koo Production.

Since its humble beginnings, Koo-Koo Productions has gone on to work on such projects as; Long and Foster Realtors, The Historical Society of the District of Columbia Circuit Court, Fairfax County Public Schools’ Graduations, International Red Cross conferences, Super club Ibiza DC, Save Darfur Now (Rally to stop Genocide), George Mason Basketball Final Four coverage, Merrian’s Way documentary trailer, “Invisible” Indy-film, music and dance performances, “The Extreme Solution” short film, weddings, as well as music videos for “The Square Trio,” “Merkaba Bandits,” “Alex Gruenberg,” “The Loose Lips,” Rodney the Pie Guy,” “The State Department”, and “Rana Mansour”… And the list keeps getting longer!
